Baby George

My grandfather George when he was a baby around 1906

For this layout I printed some digital papers from the now defunct JenWilsonDesigns.com.  They were from a collection called Midnight Shadow.

This is the die set I used:

Spellbinders - Grand Decorative Circles One

This is the punch I used around the edges:

Martha Stewart punch - Cherish

These are the chipboard pieces I used:

Blue Fern Studios
Circle Flourish Small
Blue Fern Studios
Spanish Tiles
Blue Fern Studios
Symphony Corners Medium
Blue Fern Studios
Symphony Corners

For the Circle Flourish I heat-embossed it with Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel, inked and sprinkled it lightly with Pine Needles Distress Embossing powder and heat set it again.

For the Spanish Tiles I painted them a medium greyish green and applied Picket Fence Distress Crackle paint.  When that was dry I rubbed it with Iced Spruce Distress Ink, wiping off the excess and then inked around the edges with brown and grey inks.  I added a few Gilt Trip Prills in the center.

For the Symphony Corners, I embossed them with Aged Taupe Stampendous Frantage Embossing Enamel and then glued some Gilt Trip Prills on top using Artquest Perfect Paper Adhesive Matte.

The teddy bear and medallion were made with molds and Sculpey Ultra Light and then painted. I started with a dark basecoat and then dry brushed various lighter shades on top to bring out the texture and details.
Best Flexible Molds
Teddy Bear Picnic
First Impressions Molds
Assorted Flower Medallions 2

I also added some Spruce Willis Prills around the flower clusters.

The larger flowers are by 49 and Market from their Vintage Shades collection in the sage colour.  The small white flowers are by Wild Orchid Crafts.

Thank you so much for taking a look!
