Grandma and her Father

My grandmother with her father

For this layout I used a piece of 49 and Market paper from their Vintage Remnants collection.

Paper 5 - Vintage Remnants
49 and Market

I also used some of the matching laser cut shapes (the berries and bird) from their Frame Set 2 and Frame Set 3.

These are the dies I used:

Lace Circle Frame
- AliExpress (Estelle's Craft Store)
Beaded Chains Essential Rectangles
- Tattered Lace
Mini Delicate Doilies
- My Favorite Things

The Lace Circle Frame is a smaller version of the Architectural Lace Circle die by Tattered Lace.

As usual, I layered the die-cuts over a darker version to accentuate the edges.

These are the chipboard pieces I used:

Collage Border - Blue Fern Studios
Brick Wall Panel - Dusty Attic

I blobbed some heavy gesso onto the Collage Border to create a lumpy texture.  I then painted it brown using a sponge stippler and rubbed pink paint on the raised areas with my fingertip.  I also rubbed the raised areas with some Rose Gold Metallique Wax by Prima.

The brick pieces were painted white, sprayed with Walnut Gold Glimmer Mist and then inked around the edges with Chestnut Roan Colorbox Chalk Ink.

The flowers are a mixture of different brands (Prima, Little Birdie Crafts and Wild Orchid Crafts).

I added some inexpensive jewelry and a metal filigree piece that I bought on ebay.   I rubbed the metal parts with the Rose Gold Metallique Wax as well.

Thank you so much for taking a look!

Maureen and Cecilia Again

Another photo of my mother Cecilia and her younger sister

For the background of this layout I used a piece of 49 and Market paper from their Tattered Garden collection.

Tattered Flourish - Tattered Garden
49 and Market

I  did some hand stitching along the edges and some stencilling on the background using Seedless Preserves Distress Ink and a Clarity stencil brush.

These are the dies I used:

Velvet Lace Ruffle Rectangles
- Tattered Lace
Beaded Chains Essential Rectangles
- Tattered Lace
Chunky Lace
- Uniquely Creative
Mini Delicate Doilies
- My Favorite Things

As usual, I layered all the die-cuts over a darker version, offsetting them slightly to accentuate the edges.

These are the chipboard pieces I used:

zawijaski ozdobne, małe
-Wycinanka
Morrocan (Moroccan) Accents
-Dusty Attic

I dabbed the Wycinanka flourishes with two colours of Prima Metallique Wax and melted it a bit with my heat gun.

Heather Hills - Metallique Wax
Prima - Finnabair
Sweet Rose - Metallique Wax
Prima - Finnabair

The Moroccan Accent piece was painted white and glazed with brown paint to antique it.  I then applied a think layer of glue and sprinkled with Seth Apter Embossing Powders Baked Velvet - Dusk and Lime.
I was going to leave it without heat embossing but the colour was a little too green for this layout so I misted it with Lindy's Stamp Gang T-Bird Turquoise spray and dried it with the heat gun.  I then inked around the edges with Library Green Archival Ink.

To finish, I added a few metal buttons and some inexpensive jewelry pieces I bought on AliExpress.

The larger flowers are all by 49 and Market.

Thank you so much for taking a look!

Rachel

My great-grandmother Rachel

For this layout, I used a piece of Ciao Bella paper for the background.

La Traviata paper pad - Ciao Bella

These are the dies I used:

Doily 3
- ScrapMan
Schiffli
- Tattered Lace
Mini Ruffled Rectangles
- Tattered Lace
Large Sweet Peony
- Heartfelt Creations
Small Sweet Peony
- Heartfelt Creations
Happy Birthday Frame
- ZFParty (AliExpress)
My Favorite Things
- Four Corners
Flower Circle
-Store No.4772042 (AliExpress)

I made the burgundy flowers using the Sweet Peony dies, Heartfelt Creations 3D Floral Basics Shaping Mold as well as the stylus tool from their Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.

3D Floral Basics Shaping Mold - Heartfelt Creations

Instead of misting the white die-cuts with water before running the mold through my BigShot, I brushed them with Lindy's Stamp Gang Burnt Umber Vintage Spray and Autum Maple Crimson Shimmer Spray (a very messy process but I liked the end result).  I then used a glue gun to layer the die-cut flowers and finished them off with some Prills in the center.

These are the chipboard pieces I used:

Celtic Border 3
- Creative Embellishments

Dripping Heart Lace Border
- Creative Embellishments

Fancy Trim #7
- Dusty Attic

I heat-embossed the Creative Embellishment borders with Stampendous Seasonings Embossing Enamel and the Dusty Attic Trim with Stampendous Aged Scarlet Embossing Enamel.

This is the mould I used:

Curio Findings - Prima

I used Sculpey UltraLight to make the curio pieces.  After baking and cooling the pieces, I painted them with brown Prima Rust Paste.  I then rubbed and brushed them lightly with a couple of colours of Prima Metallique Wax (Rich Copper and Old Silver).

I also used the Rich Copper wax on the metal flourish and little plastic medallion pieces in the flower clusters.

Thank you so much for taking a look.
