For this layout I used a piece of Tim Holtz Idea-ology paper from the Wallflower collection as the background.
I trimmed the edges of the paper slightly, misted them with water and distressed the edges using my fingers. I then inked the edges lightly with Fawn Colorbox Chalk ink.
This is the die set I used.

I layered the die-cuts over a dark brown copy and offset them slightly to accentuate the edges.
The white lace pieces were misted with Walnut Gold Glimmer Mist to tone down the brightness and "antique" them.
To antique the Prima resin pieces, I applied a glaze of matte gel mixed with a dab of brown paint and then wiped off the excess.
Using my finger, I rubbed pale pink paint over the metal pieces to highlight the raised areas. I added a little extra paint to the tips of the rose in the center with a paintbrush.
